A planning process is designed to find with you together the right hardware and software concept. This will  allow a smooth move of your current to the future IT infrastructure by taking portfolio of legacy software  and new net-linx software into consideration  We would like you to approve the concept before subsequent implementation steps are commencing,  including data consolidation and tuning projects.  If you provide us with details about your hardware and software in use and plans for the near future, then  we will be happy to initiate an iterative planning process with you which will result in recommendations for  scalable hardware-  and software- solutions. This includes recommendations for adequate storages for  both database and application servers, as well as virtualization concepts for application servers.  In case you have plans to consolidate your mass data into one integrated database we will work closely  with our data conversion team to ensure that you get the desired performance for time critical data  conversions either by scalable hardware and/or by software configuration settings suitable for faster data  processing. We provide recommendations for scaling of your storage systems for the initial data load from various data  sources, the data consolidation process and later on, i.e. we estimate the growth of data during on-line operation  after consolidation. The estimates can be based on planning figures you provided or in more detail as the  result of a data consolidation project, you may mandate our data conversion team for. In the second case  we arrange with you that the data conversion team can use early enough a relevant set of data for the  analysis, implementation and tuning process before the final system implementation at your sites.  Analysis of High-Availability Concepts If you deploy high-availability systems, we can as part of the infrastructural planning verify your concepts  and suggest adoptions.  Installation and Configuration of Software We have experience in installing and configuring products and third-party software as listed in the  hardware and software requirements of the various products.  Knowing our products and how they work together with third-party software, especially with Oracle  databases, we aim  to maximize the performance of the entire system in alignment with your approved  hardware- and software concept.   Most likely Adobe product suites and font packages are used in your legacy business process. In this case  we evaluate how they can be re-configured for the new systems.  Database Installation and Tuning In case your company is not using Oracle you may mandate us to perform the installation and  configuration of Oracle databases on suitable hardware and Oracle corp. certified platforms. We will  support you in finding the adequate license model that fits your requirements best.  A significant part of the overall system performance is related as well to configuration options of a  centralized database. We have experience in mass data processing and can support you adequately in  tuning Oracle server systems.  Technical Training Services The goal is to enable you to maintain application and database servers (e.g. Oracle) and client  workstations respectively virtualization servers (e.g. Citrix, Terminal Server).   You might decide for the training of your service personnel during the installation process or at a later point  in time, for example when new product releases are to be installed. You can opt also for a remote  maintenance agreement.  On-Site or Remote Upgrade of Software and Databases Product release cycles of third party products trigger also adequate net-linx product re-certifications.  For example, the latest certification for Oracle database we made for Oracle 11g Release 2 server and  client.
